Dr Olusan is a practicing Structual and Interventional Cardiologist with an extensive experience in clinical practice and research. He completed his specialist training in Cardiology at the Northern Ireland Deanery, Interventional (PCI) Fellowship at Somerset NHS Trust and Structural Fellowship at the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust (Glenfield Hospital). He is a member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP UK and MRCP London), the British Cardiovascular Society, the British Cardiovascular Intervention Society, European Society of Cardiology, Affiliate member of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine (FPM) and a certified member of the British Society of Echocardiography (BSE).
He earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with distinction from the Universitatea din Oradea Romania, a Master of Science in Preventive Cardiology, and a Diploma (DIC) in Preventive Cardiology from the Imperial College London, United Kingdom.
Aside from his role as a Principal Investigator and expert advisor on cardiometabolic studies, he is also the GMC-Approved Responsible Officer, accountable for Bioluminux Clinical Research clinical governance processes and focusing on the conduct and performance of doctors.
